what you'll do
- help design the future of tactile and visual data collection for humanoid robotics
- design, prototype and iterate on capture hardware: gloves, tactile sensors, camera rigs
- work with stakeholders and manufacturers across the country and the world to ship the best and cheapest tools
- solve whatever problem is most important that week
who you are
- you've graduated or dropped out of school
- hardware-inclined: ee, meche, computer engineering or similar
- interested in humanoid robotics
- someone who can figure sh*t out
- comfortable being uncomfortable, and willing to do whatever it takes
ideally
- you've tried building a company before
- you've worked at or with a major ai or robotics lab
travel
this role comes with paid travel to china, korea, india, vietnam and a few other countries. you'll need a valid passport and to be in good standing with the government.
the details
- location: our hq is in austin, texas, and we expect you to be based here. travel comes with the role as it grows
- housing: we have a home in austin where we live and work out of. there's room for you if that arrangement interests you
- pay: competitive salary, plus equity with vesting. the equity amount is set by level of experience
